On Friday November 24th 12.00 – 13.00 h (CEST) Maarten van Tuijl, Architect, Temp Architecture Urbanism (The Netherlands), will discuss his book “The Flexible City” Solutions for a Circular and Climate-Adapted Europe in a online Webinar.
The SURE Eurodelta investigates the creation of a spatial strategy for the Eurodelta. In this webinar series, they provide a look at best practises for promoting a circular built environment in Northwest Europe.
Cities across Europe are grappling with a slew of environmental challenges, including global warming, natural resource depletion, pollution, and the extinction of plant and animal species. Cities must become circular and climate-adaptive if they are to remain livable.
The Flexible City provides a toolbox for integrating circularity and climate adaption in our cities. Authors Tom Bergevoet and Maarten van Tuijl evaluate European towns, uncover commonalities and trends, and offer tools and successful instances using a network of local reporters.
