Open letter for a competitive and resilient Europe

Our alliance, representing 25 members from 5 countries, has joined forces with 45 other key players in Europe’s transport sector, including the European Sea Ports Organisation (ESPO), to sign an open letter urging EU Member States and the Commission to maintain a dedicated European transport funding instrument. This collective effort underscores the critical importance of preserving European-level coordination for transport infrastructure funding.
As signatories, we strongly believe that European coordination of infrastructure is more crucial than ever for the smooth functioning of the EU internal market, Europe’s competitiveness, and our collective resilience.
Join us in advocating for the preservation of a solid, dedicated European transport funding instrument by sharing this open letter with pertinent parties. Your support is crucial in ensuring that the Rhine-Alpine Corridor, a vital artery of European trade and mobility, continues to receive the necessary funding and attention for its transport development and optimisation. Together, we can work towards a stronger, more connected Europe that is ready to face the challenges of tomorrow.
