Voting during the EGTC Assembly
The EGTC Rhine Alpine held its Strategy Workshop and its 19th Assembly in the House of Dutch Provinces in Brussels on April 4th. The event was aligned around the Connecting Europe Days (CED) in Brussels, taking into consideration the availability of most members and advisors.
During the Strategy Workshop, EGTC members and advisors laid cornerstones for the future EGTC strategy with an outlook towards the changing Corridor landscape.
This Assembly featured a range of important matters, such as the Chair and Vice Chair elections, amendments to the statutes and the approval of the financial report 2023. The Assembly welcomed Citta Metropolitana di Milano to become a new member of the EGTC.
We are happy to announce the new Chair and Vice Chairs:
Chair
Dario Voltattorni, Secretary General, Confindustria Lombardia
Vice-Chair
Dr. Matthias Proske, Director, Regionalverband Mittlerer Oberrhein
Vice-Chair
Jeannette Baljeu, Regional Minister, Province of Zuid-Holland
With a set of targeted activities within the coming months the EGTC Rhine Alpine will continue its activities in the pursuit of contributing to the development of a prosperous Corridor. Much work could be completed, and we wish to thank our members for their commitment and especially our host Provincie Gelderland for enabling this event. We would also like to thank previous Vice Chairs Paolo Balistreri and Rouven Kötter for their hard work and commitment during their tenure.
