Job Description
The Interregional Alliance for the Rhine-Alpine Corridor EGTC (hereinafter EGTC) is looking for a project officer for the project Share4Equity – Shared mobility services towards equitable and sustainable mobilities. The officer will be in charge for the implementation of the EGTC tasks in close cooperation with the Director and the EGTC Office and acts as an interface to the thematic working groups of the EGTC.
The EGTC participates together with further partner organisations in the Share4Equity project. The project receives funding under the Driving Urban Transitions Call 2024 and is Co-Funded under HORIZON-CL5-2021-D2-01-16 – Co-Funded Partnership: Driving Urban Transitions to a sustainable future (DUT). It runs from January 2025 – December 2027.
The Share4Equity project aims to explore the role of shared mobility services in achieving equitable transport, mobility justice, and the 15-minute City concept. For this project work, we are looking for a project officer from September 2025 – December 2027. The requirements are specified below.
Job Requirements
Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of EU law, its institutions and policies
- Experience in EU-funded projects/Programmes management is an asset
- Project management
- General knowledge of national transport policies (3 countries involved) will be an asset
Skills
- Bachelor or Master degree in any field of relevance to the above tasks (transport planning, spatial development, political science, project management, MBA etc.) or equivalent experience
- High level of proficiency and fluency in English and German, further beneficious languages are Dutch, French and Italian
- Excellent communication and drafting skills
- Excellent logical and analytical skills
- Excellent computer literacy (MS Office, preferably also Adobe Creative Cloud)
- Practice with WordPress and social media platforms will be an asset

- Employment with public service contract (TVöD) formally at Verband Region Rhein-Neckar with delegation to Interregional Alliance for the Rhine-Alpine Corridor EGTC (same location)
